How to Put Date in Instagram Story?

You can add the date in Instagram Stories by tapping the sticker icon once you've uploaded or taken your photo, and selecting the date sticker.
Just tap the sticker icon and choose the date sticker. It's that simple.
Easy peasy! When you're in the Stories creation screen, take or upload your picture and then tap on the sticker icon (the little square smiley face). You'll find a sticker that shows the date. Just tap it, and voila! Date added.
