First off, you gotta switch your Steam Deck to Desktop mode. Then, head to Discord's website or look it up in the Discover software center to download and install it. After that, just switch back to Gaming mode if you want, and Discord will be there, ready to use!

Just use the web version of Discord on Steam Deck's browser if you're looking for the easiest path. No installs needed.

I've actually installed Discord on my Steam Deck and it's pretty straightforward. Just make sure you're in Desktop Mode first, then download Discord from their site or the Discover store, install, and boom - you're set to voice chat and message your friends while gaming.

Honestly, installing Discord on the Steam Deck feels like overkill. Just use your phone or PC for Discord chats while gaming.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
