I grabbed some DLC for Smash Ultimate last night. It was a breeze! Just go to the eShop, search for Smash Bros, pick your DLC, and download. Then, enjoy those new fighters and stages!
For most Super Smash Bros games, you just need to go to the eShop on your Nintendo console, search for the DLC you want, and purchase/download it. Easy peasy!
