Just pop open the disc drive flap on the front—it's on the right-hand side when the console is standing vertically. Slide the disc in with the label facing to the left (or top if it's laying down). Easy peasy!

Carefully insert the disc with the label side facing left if your PS5 is vertical. If it's horizontal, the label should face up. Listen for a little loading noise, and you're good to go!

Just shove it in there. Label facing left if it’s standing up, or up if it’s lying down. Done.

I had the same confusion! The label should face left when the console's upright. If it's lying flat, label side up. Simple once you get the hang of it!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
