Open the app, tap the Poké Ball at the bottom, then go to the Shop. Scroll down and you'll see an option to enter promo codes.

For Android: Go to the in-game shop, scroll down, and punch in your promo code. Easy peasy! iOS users, sorry, but you'll need to use Niantic's website.

Just to clarify, if you're on iOS, you can't enter codes directly in the game. Go to the Niantic Rewards website instead: rewards.nianticlabs.com.
