Honestly, just add it as a non-Steam game. Steam > Add a Game > Add a Non-Steam Game > Browse to Minecraft Launcher > Add. Boom, done. Easy peasy.

Not worth it, imo. Launching Minecraft through Steam just adds an unnecessary step. Just pin Minecraft to your taskbar and launch it directly.

First up, launch Steam and head to the bottom left corner. Click on '+ Add a Game' and then 'Add a Non-Steam Game'. A window pops up, you gotta hit 'Browse' and navigate to where Minecraft is installed on your comp. Select the Minecraft Launcher executable and add it to Steam. Now you can launch Minecraft directly from your Steam library, pretty neat for keeping all your games in one place.

I did this, and let me tell you, it's a game changer. Adding Minecraft to Steam lets you use Steam's in-game overlay and chat with Steam friends while playing. It鈥檚 like the best of both worlds!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
