Just head to your nearest Ammu-Nation store in-game, stroll up to the counter, and select the 'Armor' tab. You can choose from different levels of armor protection depending on how much cash you're willing to drop. After buying, your character automatically puts it on. Easy peasy, now you're ready to cause or avoid chaos with a bit more confidence!

Quick tip, you don't actually 'put on' armor in GTA 5 like changing clothes. It's more like an instant boost. Once you buy it, it's automatically applied to you. So, don't look around in your inventory for a physical armor vest!
