How to put on a shield in Apex Legends
Easy peasy! Just walk over to a body shield you find on the ground or in a loot bin and press the interact button (for most platforms it's usually 'E' on PC, 'X' on Xbox, and 'Square' on PlayStation). If it's better than what you currently have, your Legend will automatically equip it. Remember, armor doesn't stack, so picking up a new one replaces your current shield.

lol, just grab it dude. If it's shiny and on the floor, it's probably better than what you got. Press that pickup button and bam, you're shielded up!
Actually, you don't 'put on' shields like clothes. You just pick up body shields to upgrade your armor level. So there's no 'activating' shields or anything. Just find 'em and pick 'em up.
