How to Put PlayStation Plus on a Sub Account
You need to have the master account add PlayStation Plus to the sub account through the Family Management settings. Just log into the master account, go to Settings > Parental Controls/Family Management > Family Management, and add or manage family members. From there, you can set up or upgrade the sub account to have PS Plus benefits. Easy peasy!

Just log into the master account and go to Settings > Parental Controls/Family Management to add PS Plus to the sub account. Trust me, I've done it myself and it works perfectly!
