If you're on Android, launch Pokemon GO, tap the menu button, go to the shop, and scroll down to enter your promo code. For iOS users, you’ll need to redeem the code via the Niantic website instead!

I tried this last week! Open Pokemon GO, hit the Pokeball, go to shop, and scroll to the very bottom. There you can input your promo code.
