Open the XCOM 2 crash log with Notepad and start scrolling for anything that screams 'ERROR' or 'CRASH'. It's like alien autopsy for your game!

I usually avoid reading crash logs. Reinstall the game or update your drivers to fix most issues.

Experienced this recently! Found my logs deep in the Steam folder. Open them up with Notepad, and the errors are usually near the bottom. Tweaked some mods and it worked again.

First, check the crash log directory in your XCOM 2 installation folder. Open the log file with a text editor to see details about the crash. Look for lines labeled 'ERROR' or 'CRITICAL' to find the issue!
