It's pretty simple: the red part of the GeoGuessr compass points north. Use it to figure out directions and help with your guesses.

North is up, south is down, east is right, and west is left. Just like using any other compass!

Having played GeoGuessr for years, I've found that keeping the red needle pointed up (north) helps me the most. It makes navigation and triangulation easier!

Honestly, just ignore the compass. Focus on the landmarks and other visual clues instead.

The GeoGuessr compass always points north, so use it to orient yourself. Look at the red needle; it shows north. Rotate your view to align the needle north, and the landscape will make more sense!

If you're a GeoGuessr player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in GeoGuessr essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
