How to Read Pokemon Card Symbols
Reading Pokemon card symbols is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Each symbol tells you something different about the card. For example, a tiny circle at the bottom means it's a common card. If you see a diamond, that means it's uncommon, and a star indicates it's rare. For the really fancy ones, a star H or three stars mean it's super or ultra-rare! Also, don't forget about the color of the card's name - gold means you've hit the jackpot with a secret rare.

Just look for the little symbol near the bottom right of the card. Circle = common, diamond = uncommon, star = rare. EZPZ.
Honestly, I never bother with symbols. If it looks cool, it goes in my deck. Who cares about rarity?
