Honestly, it's as easy as pie. Yank that card out of the Steam Deck (safely, of course), slap it into an SD card reader, and boom, you're in business. Your PC will treat it like any other storage device.

I actually managed to mess up my game files by not ejecting the SD card properly from the Steam Deck before reading it on my PC. Always eject it safely by going to the system settings on your Steam Deck to avoid any heartache!

To read your Steam Deck's SD card on your PC, you're gonna want to first make sure you safely eject the SD card from your Steam Deck. Then, just pop it into an SD card reader that's connected to your PC. If your PC doesn鈥檛 have a built-in SD card slot, you'll need an external SD card reader. Once it's inserted, your PC should recognize it as a removable drive, and you can access it through File Explorer or Finder if you're on Mac.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
