You can read an Xbox 360 hard drive on a PC by using a compatible USB transfer cable or an external hard drive enclosure. Plug it in, and your PC should recognize it as a mass storage device!

Hot take: Just use a file recovery software after plugging it directly into the PC. Works like a charm!

I used a third-party hard drive transfer dock. Plugged the Xbox 360 drive into the dock and then connected it to my PC via USB. Worked perfectly for transferring files!

Just grab a USB transfer cable made specifically for Xbox 360 hard drives. Connect the drive to your PC's USB port, and it should show up as an external drive.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
