Honestly, just turning it off and on again solves like 90% of any tech issue.

I think the best way is to not just restart it but to also give it a few minutes off. Turn it off completely, count to 60 (or make a cup of coffee, whichever you prefer), then turn it back on. It's like a mini vacation for your Steam Deck.

Just hold down the power button till the restart menu shows up. Hit restart. Done. If it's acting up, this usually does the trick.

Rebooting your Steam Deck is easy peasy! Just press and hold the power button on the top of the device for a few seconds. A menu will pop up, giving you the option to 'Power Off' or 'Restart'. Choose 'Restart' to give it a fresh start. Works like a charm when it decides to be a bit stubborn and freeze up on you.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
