To recharge the scanner on Xbox, just swap out the old battery with a fresh one. You'll need to craft a new battery using two Acid Mushrooms and one Copper Ore first. Open your inventory, select the scanner, and choose 'Recharge' to replace the battery!

From personal experience, recharging the scanner on Xbox is as easy as crafting a new battery. Once you've got that, open your inventory, find your scanner, and select the battery icon to replace it. Happy scanning!
