From personal experience, build a Base with a Battery Charger and solar panels. You’ll always have power and it's super satisfying to see those recharge!
Grab yourself a battery charger blueprint! You can find fragments in the Northern Blood Kelp Zone and the Wrecks. Once built, just pop in your dead batteries, and they'll charge up all nice and pretty.
