How to Record Gameplay for YouTube on Xbox One
Just press the Xbox button, navigate to the Capture & Share tab, and choose 'Start Recording'. When you're finished, you can access and trim your clips in the 'Captures' section and upload them to YouTube using the YouTube app on Xbox One.

Press the Xbox button on your controller, then go to Capture & Share > Start Recording. You can also press the View button twice to start recording instantly. Once done, upload the clip to OneDrive or an external drive, then transfer to your PC for editing and uploading to YouTube.
From experience: Press the Xbox button, go to the Broadcast & Capture tab, and select Record from now. You can stop recording by pressing the Xbox button again. I usually edit my clips on my computer after transferring them from my Xbox to OneDrive.
Two words: External Drive. Record your gameplay, save it to an external drive, then plug it into your PC and upload it to YouTube. Easy peasy.
