Just call up Tom Nook. Guy seems to have a solution for everything, doesn't he? ? But seriously, the Island Backup service is your best bet. Make sure it's always enabled!

If you didn't turn on the Island Backup feature, I'm afraid your options are pretty limited. Nintendo's support might help in some rare cases, but it's a long shot. Always turn on Island Backup to avoid heartbreak!

Lost your Animal Crossing save data? Don't panic! If you've enabled the Island Backup Service in the game settings, you can recover your island. First, ensure your Nintendo Switch has an active internet connection. Then, start Animal Crossing: New Horizons and on the title screen, press the '-' button to access the settings. Talk to Tom Nook and select 'Island Backup'. Follow his instructions to restore your save data. Remember, this only works if you had the backup feature turned on before you lost your data!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
