For the pirates who sailed without linking to social media, you're not out of luck! Just hit up the 'Support/Configure' menu on the title screen, go to 'Support,' and then 'Inquiries.' You'll have to fill out a form with as much detail about your account as possible (characters, levels, recent purchases, etc.). The more info, the better. The support team is pretty awesome at helping lost accounts find their way home.
Had to recover mine once, filled out the form and got it back in like 2 days. Just make sure you remember your crew!
Honestly, just keep your account linked to a social media next time. Saves a whole lot of trouble.
