Easy peasy! Just head to the Epic Games launcher, log in, and click on your username in the bottom left. Then find and click the 'Redeem Code' option, type in your code, and hit redeem!
Okay, hot take: You can also redeem a code in Fortnite on your console's store like PSN or Xbox Live. Type in the code there and it should sync with Fortnite.
Skip the launcher and just go to the Epic Games website. Log in, click on your profile, find 'Redeem Code' in the dropdown menu, enter your code, and you're all set.
