Quick heads up: Sometimes, you don't need to change regions at all. Just make sure the gift card currency matches your Riot account's default currency. If it does, you might be able to redeem it without tinkering with your region settings. Worst case, contact Riot support. They're pretty helpful!

Redeeming a Valorant gift card from another country is a bit tricky but doable! You need to change your Riot account's region to match the region of the gift card. First, log in to your Riot account on their website, go to 'Account Settings', and there you'll see an option to change your region. Be aware, though, this might affect your gameplay, as your ping could increase significantly playing in a different region.

Actually, changing your region can be more hassle than it's worth. You risk higher ping and possibly violating terms of service. Better to trade that gift card with someone from the correct region or find a local buyer.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
