The easiest way to refresh Words with Friends on your iPhone is to force close the app and then reopen it. Just double-tap the home button (or swipe up from the bottom on newer models), find Words with Friends, and swipe it away!

Restarting your iPhone can also refresh the game! Just turn it off and on again. Works like magic.

I've had this issue too! Usually, I force close the app and reopen it. If that doesn't work, restarting the iPhone does the trick.
