Honest opinion? If your cards are super valuable, just leave refurbishing to professionals. You risk damaging them more if you don't know exactly what you're doing.

If you wanna refurbish those old Pokemon cards and bring 'em back to their former glory, the key is gentle cleaning and protection! Start by lightly wiping the surface with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove dust. If they're grimy, a very slightly damp cloth might help, but be careful not to soak them. Scratches on the holographic parts are tough, but sometimes a tiny bit of car polish can reduce them - just test it on a card you care less about first. Always sleeve your cards post-cleaning to keep them safe.

Been there, done that with refurbishing cards. A light clean with a microfiber cloth works wonders. For real grimy cards, I dab a bit of isopropyl alcohol on the cloth - not directly on the card. And sleeves are your best friends. Protect those cards like they're gold.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
