Reimaging your Steam Deck is pretty straightforward! Just grab a USB drive with at least 8GB of space and download the SteamOS recovery image from the official Steam support site. Make sure to format the USB drive to FAT32, then extract the contents of the recovery image onto it. Power off your Steam Deck, insert the USB, then hold the volume down button while you press the power button to boot from the USB. Follow the on-screen instructions, and voilà, fresh SteamOS installed!

Honestly, why would you need to reimage your Steam Deck? It works fine out of the box. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Just download the recovery image from Steam, stick it on a USB, and boot from there. Easy peasy.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
