Honestly, just make sure your game's good and not broken. Steam's easy. Getting noticed is the hard part.

FYI, just throwing your game on Steam doesn鈥檛 mean it鈥檚 gonna sell like hotcakes. Make sure you've got some solid marketing and maybe a few community posts on Steam itself to get people hyped. Steam's a big ocean, and you wanna make sure your game doesn't sink.

First off, you'll wanna hit up Steam Direct. That's your golden ticket to getting your game on Steam. You'll need to fill out some digital paperwork, pay a fee for each game you plan to submit (think of it as a quality assurance thing), and then submit your game for review. Once you've passed their checks, you set a release date, and bam, you're gonna be live on Steam!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
