Hey, I've played a lot of Splatoon 2, and while you can't remap controls in-game, using controller settings on the Switch itself to change button layouts can be an alternative.

Unfortunately, Splatoon 2 doesn't natively support custom control remapping, but you can adjust sensitivity settings in the game options for some tweaks.
