Install an ad blocker like uBlock Origin or Adblock Plus. They work great with Facebook and can help reduce those pesky ads!
Ads are how Facebook stays free, so consider supporting them! That said, ad blockers work if you really want them gone.
I've found that tweaking your ad settings in Facebook helps a bit. Go to Settings > Ads and manage your ad preferences there.
