How to Remove an Accent Wall in Animal Crossing
Easy peasy! Just go into your pocket while you're in your house, select the wallpaper you want to use, and press 'A'. It'll ask if you want to use it as wallpaper or an accent wall. Choose 'wallpaper', and bam, your accent wall is gone, replaced by your new choice!

You can't 'remove' an accent wall per se, but you can override it by setting another wallpaper on the full room. Just choose another wallpaper and apply it to the entire room; your accent wall will disappear like it never existed.
