Getting rid of the black bars in Apex Legends is usually about tweaking your display or graphics settings. Most of the time, these bars appear because your game's resolution doesn't match your monitor's. Go into the game's settings, look for the Video or Display options, and adjust the resolution to match your screen's. Also, double-check your monitor's aspect ratio settings and adjust those in-game as well. Sometimes, playing around with the windowed mode settings can also help!

Everyone's going on about resolutions and settings, but hear me out: have you checked if your graphics driver is up to date? Outdated drivers can cause all sorts of display issues, including those pesky black bars. Update that and you might just solve your problem without fiddling with any in-game settings.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
