Hold X to dismantle the building! If it doesn't work, just smash it with your axe. Good ol' fashioned demolition.
You can't actually remove buildings in Sons of the Forest. Maybe try building away from where you don't want stuff?
From experience, I found that explosives are the fastest way to clear out a building. Just make sure you're at a safe distance!
