Just slide the cover off gently. Lay the PS5 on its side, press the bottom of the side panel, and slide it upward. Easy peasy!

First, make sure the PS5 is turned off and unplugged. Then, lay it flat and gently remove the side panels by pressing and sliding them off.

I did this last week! Tilt the PS5 slightly backward, press the bottom part of the side panel, and slide the cover up. Voila!
