Go to your Facebook app, head to the 'Settings & Privacy' section, then 'Settings,' and find 'Account Ownership and Control.' From there, select 'Deactivation and Deletion,' tap 'Instagram,' and follow the steps to unlink your account. Easy peasy!
Had to do this last month! I just went into my Instagram settings, found the 'Linked Accounts' option under 'Account,' and unlinked Facebook. Worked perfectly!
Just unlink it from the Instagram settings. Takes like 2 minutes. Done.
You can also manage linked accounts from the 'Accounts Center' in both apps. Navigate to Account Center via settings and remove Facebook from there.
