It's actually pretty easy! Just hold down the Steam button to bring up the Quick Access menu, then navigate to 'Performance' and toggle the performance overlay off. It's a quick fix to get back to your gaming without any distractions!

Simply put, go to Settings > Performance Overlay, and choose 'Off'. Boom, no more overlay eating up your screen space while you're trying to enjoy your game.

Had this issue last week! Held down the Steam button, went to the Performance tab, and just toggled the overlay to off. Worked like a charm, and now I'm back to gaming without any annoying overlays.

Honestly, just keep the overlay. It's super useful to monitor your game's performance on the fly. But hey, to each their own!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
