To remove Quick Resume on the Xbox Series S, just open the game in question, press the Xbox button on your controller, highlight the game, press the Menu button (three lines), and select 'Quit.' Easy peasy!

Hey, you just need to shut down the console completely by holding the Xbox button for 10 seconds. It clears out all Quick Resume states.

Honestly, you can't permanently remove Quick Resume; it's built into the system. Just quit the game as needed.

From personal experience, quitting each game manually via the Xbox Guide works best to disable Quick Resume for specific games. Trust me, it's a lifesaver when switching between multiple titles!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
