To get rid of that annoying Steam market hold, first off, make sure your Steam Guard's been on for at least 15 days. If not, wait it out. Next, confirm your contact email with Steam and have the Steam Mobile Authenticator installed for a week. Patience is key here, so grab a snack and wait for the magic to happen!

Hot Take: Just chill and wait it out. It's there for your own safety, anyway.

Been there, done that. Confirming your email and setting up the Steam Mobile Authenticator is the way to go. Took exactly 7 days for the market hold to vanish after I got the authenticator up and running. So, yeah, it works.

It's simpler than you think: enable Steam Guard, verify your email, and use the Mobile Authenticator. Nothing instant, but it's foolproof.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
