Just wait it out, bro. It's usually only up to 15 days if you're new to trading or haven't set up the Mobile Authenticator. Patience is a virtue!

The first step to removing a Steam trade hold is to enable the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator. You need to have it active for at least 7 days. After that, trade holds should be gone unless there's another security issue with your account. Make sure your account is fully secured and your contact info is up to date!

Enabling 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) is key. Also, verify your email with Steam and always keep your account details secure. Trade holds are annoying but they're there for your own good to prevent scams and unauthorized access to your inventory.

Honestly, just get the Mobile Authenticator. It's a bit of a hassle at first, but it's worth it for faster trades and better security. I set it up once and forgot about trade holds forever.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
