Be careful! Unscrewing and removing the back of your Steam Deck will void the warranty. If you're okay with that, unscrew the eight screws and slowly pry it open!

Did it myself last week. Grab a Phillips #0 screwdriver, unscrew the eight screws, and gently use a plastic prying tool to open the back. Just go slow and steady!
