You can remove the black part by carefully prying it off with a plastic spudger. Just be cautious not to break any internal clips.

Hey there! To remove the black part of the PS5 controller (DualSense), you'll need to carefully pry off the shell using a plastic opening tool or something similar. Start at the bottom near the charging port and work your way around. Just be gentle to avoid damaging any clips.

Honestly, unless you're into DIY repairs, I wouldn't recommend it. You might void the warranty or break something.

Did this last week! Use a plastic pry tool around the edges, especially near the triggers, and slowly lift the black part. No metal tools, trust me!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
