Oh, wanna ditch some fancy effects for a sleek original look? No worries! You can't actually 'remove' an upgrade once it's applied to a skin in Valorant. You can, however, switch between the levels of the skin that you've unlocked. Just head to your collection, click on the weapon whose skin you've upgraded, and you should see the option to switch to whatever level of upgrade you prefer. Just remember, the VP spent on those upgrades are a one-way street!

Short answer: You can't. Once you upgrade a skin in Valorant, it's permanent. But you can toggle between the different levels you've unlocked for that skin in your collection.

Actually, I kinda like that you can't remove upgrades. It makes you really think before you drop those precious VPs on any skin upgrade. Plus, switching between levels gives enough flexibility imo.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
