Why hassle manually? Just set it to auto-renew and forget about it!

Just go to your PS4/PS5 Settings, select Account Management, then Account Information, and finally choose PlayStation Subscriptions. Click on PlayStation Plus and select Renew!

From my experience, the easiest way is to use the PlayStation app. Open the app, go to the Store section, find Subscriptions, and renew your PlayStation Plus there!
