Go to Settings > Controller Settings on your Steam Deck. You can drag and drop controllers to change their order. Easy-peasy!

It's a bit of a process, but manageable. Open up the Steam Menu, then go to Settings > Controller Settings. You can reorder the controllers by dragging them into place. Hope that helps!

From my experience, you want to head to Controller Settings in the Steam menu. Simply reorder them by dragging the controllers. Worked like a charm for me!
