I fixed mine by replacing the analog sticks. You can find inexpensive replacement kits online, and there are plenty of YouTube tutorials to guide you through the process. Just take your time and be gentle with the internal components!

First, try resetting your controller by pushing the small reset button on the back near the L2 shoulder button using a pin. If that doesn't work, check if a firmware update is needed or recalibrate the analog sticks in the system settings.

Sometimes it's just easier to buy a new one. Yeah, it's not the most cost-effective, but it saves time and frustration.

Honestly, sometimes a good ol' cleaning works wonders. Open it up and gently clean the insides, especially around the buttons and analog sticks. Dust and grime can cause a lot of issues.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
