Sometimes, the best fix is the simplest: Reinstall. If verifying files doesn’t cut it, just uninstall the game from Steam and download it again. Sure, it takes a bit longer, but it’s like giving your game a fresh start.

It's super easy to repair a game on Steam! Just right-click the game in your library, hit 'Properties', go to the 'Local Files' tab, and click on 'Verify integrity of game files...'. Steam will do the rest, checking and fixing any missing or corrupted files. Easy-peasy lemon squeezy!

No need to panic if a game's acting up. Open Steam, right-click your game, and click 'Properties'. Head over to 'Local Files' and hit 'Verify integrity of game files...'. Grab a coffee and let Steam work its magic.

I dunno, mine usually fixes itself after I restart Steam or my PC. Could just be luck though.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
