How to Replace a PS3 Hard Drive
TabulatingMadam路7 months agoReplacing a PS3 hard drive is pretty straightforward. Just power down your PS3, remove the hard drive cover, unscrew the blue screw, slide out the old drive, swap in the new one, and reassemble. Don't forget to reformat the new drive once it's in!

It's easy! Remove the cover, slide out the old drive, slide in the new one, and format. Done!
First, back up your data. Then power off, unplug, and open the HDD bay. Unscrew and remove the old drive, insert the new one, screw it back in, and close the bay. Plug everything back in and format the new drive.
Did it last weekend! Just remove the blue screw, swap drives, and you're good to go. Super simple!
