First, unscrew the back of the controller with a small Phillips screwdriver. Carefully remove the back cover, then disconnect the old battery and replace it with a new one. Reverse the steps to reassemble!

I replaced my PS4 controller battery last week! Just open it up, disconnect the old battery, connect the new one, and close it back up. Easy-peasy!

You'll need a small Phillips screwdriver. Unscrew the back, remove the old battery by unplugging it, and then plug in a new battery. Snap the cover back on and you're good to go!

Don't even bother opening it up. Just buy a new controller and save yourself the headache.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
