Take off the screws at the back of the controller. Open it up, pop out the old battery, and swap in the new one. Make sure everything's snug before closing it back up.

First, you gotta remove the four screws on the back of the controller. Carefully pry it open, then disconnect the old battery and plug in the new one. Easy-peasy!

I replaced mine by removing the screws on the back, gently opening the shell, disconnecting the old battery, and plugging in a new one. Worked like a charm!
