Honestly, just get an external SSD. Same result, less hassle.

Replacing the HDD in your PS4 is a cinch! First, power off and unplug everything. Slide off the glossy top panel, remove the single screw holding the HDD bracket, and gently pull out the HDD. Swap in your new drive, reassemble, and reinstall the system software from a USB. Voil脿!

I've done this a few times鈥攕uper straightforward. Power off the PS4, remove the cover, unscrew the HDD, swap it, and then install the system software from a USB stick. Takes about 15 minutes tops!

Easy peasy! Turn off the console completely. Slide the top cover from the casing, unscrew the HDD bracket, and swap the drives. Don't forget to reinstall the system software from a USB stick!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
