Grab a compatible 2.5-inch SATA hard drive, remove the side panel of your PS3, unscrew the blue screw, and swap out the hard drive. Voila!

Replacing a PS3 hard drive is pretty simple! Just remove the side panel, unscrew the blue screw, slide out the old drive, and pop in the new one. Don't forget to reinstall the system software afterward.

Make sure to back up your data first. Then it's as easy as unscrewing the blue screw, swapping the drives, and reloading the system software.

I replaced my PS3 hard drive last month. Just take off the side cover, unscrew the blue screw, slide the old drive out, and put the new one in. Then reinstall the system software. Easy peasy!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
